Free Budget Form

Tell your money where it will go, or, like a naughty child, it will go somewhere else…and do what you don’t want it to do—likely at the most embarrassing times.
--Daniel & Deborah Minteer
A budget is how you tell your money where to go. And we’d go so far as to say is it key to your financial success. But don’t be scared off by that – it is really pretty straightforward. A budget is simply spending all the month’s money “on paper” before you actually spend it. It’s just a written plan, and if you are married then it’s an agreement.
We want to help you get started. Please download our free Excel budget form below and get going on telling your money what to do! We use this every month and it only takes about ten minutes. After we fill out the budget form, we then print it out and Deborah carries it in her purse. As we spend money and pay bills during the month we cross off things on the budget sheet. If we spend less on something, we make a note of that on the budget sheet so that we can put that money towards something else. If we spend more on something than planned, we then have a quick "budget meeting" to figure out what on the budget has to be lowered - something has to because we certainly will not use our credit card to pick up the slack.
We've been using this form for over seven years. It's simple and it works! Please try it.
